This amazingly peaceful early morning trip is spectacular; whether you experience a golden orange sunrise or a damp misty dawn.

Guided by Nathan Kingerlee, this kayak tour explores a new area of Killarney National Park, taking in Muckross Lake, Old Weir Bridge, the haunted ruins of Glena Cottage and the ancient oak woods of Shehy Mountain.

20KM Kayak Trip Through Killarney National Park, Across Lough Lein & Down Laune River

Spend a unique and exhilarating day exploring Lough Lein and Laune River by kayak, with a qualified guide.

Following the shoreline of ancient oak woods, paddle across the sparkling waters of Lough Lein, down the gently winding Laune River, past ruined castles, to the white water rapids at Beaufort Bridge.

This full day river kayak trip takes you through woodland and green countryside, overlooked by the MacGillycuddy Reeks. Learn kayak techniques for the occasional section of rapids you will encounter. Relax on grassy river banks and even take a swim in the fresh mountain water!
