Learn The Survival Skills To Cope With A Wilderness Emergency

Survival Skills 1 is a three-day, beginner friendly, fast paced and intensive, course in the woodland wilds of Glengarriff, West Cork.

Over the three days you will cover the core survival skills, which are protection, rescue, water, food.

This entails; using minimal equipment; the ability to build a shelter, hang a tarp, hang a hammock, methods of rescue – including rescue navigation. The ability to find water, filter and steralise it for drinking. The ability to make fire from spark, manage and cook on a fire.
Plant identification and plant foraging. Dressing and cooking an animal; either fish, fur or feather.
Plus a range of other core bushcraft skills.
You will overnight in the woods for the two nights.
